Comparison between DC53 and SKD11:          

DC53 in SKD11 based on improved, after heat treatment hardness is higher than SKD11, high temperature (520-530 degrees C) after tempering up to 62-63HRC high hardness, in the strength of more than SKD11. .          

Toughness is two times SKD11. The toughness of DC53 in cold working die steel is more prominent, therefore, made of DC53 few cracks and crack, greatly improving the service life.          

Residual stress after wire cutting is reduced by high temperature tempering. Therefore, the large mold and the precision of the mold on the line after cutting the crack and deformation to be suppressed.          

Cutting performance is better than SDK11, DC53 is better than SDK11. Therefore, the use of DC53 can increase the die life and reduce the machining process.
